The American Council of the Blind of Texas held its 46th annual conference/convention in Houston, TX from Thursday, August 22 through Sunday, August 25, 2024. The location is the Houston Marriott Westchase Hotel.
Sessions and the exhibit hall will be on Friday, August 23 and Saturday August 24.
The Exhibitor Conference/Convention Registration is closed for 2024
We invite you to participate as an exhibitor at our conference. Our Theme this year is: “ACBT: Building Bridges in the Bayou City”. This is your opportunity to tell attendees about your programs, services, technology and products for people who are blind or visually impaired. Attendees will come from all over Texas as well as other parts of the country and are very eager to have firsthand knowledge of the latest equipment and technology designed to improve their quality of life and increase their independence.
The registration fee is $100.00 for the first table and an additional $50.00 charge for the second table or $40.00 for the first table and an additional $25.00 charge for the second table for Chapter or Special Interest Affiliates.
While the deadline to register is July 15, 2024, we encourage you to register early to reserve your space!
The Exhibitor registration is closed for 2024
There will be a virtual auction on Sunday, August 18, 2024, using the Zoom platform starting at 6:00 pm CDT. If you will not attend the ACBT 2024 conference/convention, you must register to participate in this virtual auction by Wednesday, August 14th by 7pm.
All conference attendees will be automatically registered to participate in this virtual auction, so no need to register again. This virtual auction will be aired on ACB Media radio.
There will be a silent auction on Saturday, August 24. Auction items will be available for bidding Saturday afternoon until 5pm. No registration is required to participate in the silent auction.
The auction winner will be announced during the banquet.
